On the afternoon of 20th June 2021, two fire appliances from Gorton and one fire appliance from Ashton attended a domestic building fire on Hyde Road in Gorton. Crews used breathing apparatus, hose reel, thermal imaging camera and other tools to tackle the fire and were on scene for around an hour and a half.
