Seven fire engines from Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Bamber Bridge, Wigan, Hindley and Chorley’s Urban Search And Rescue team were called to an explosion in a property on Tanfields, Skelmersdale. Firefighters worked with Lancashire Police and North West Ambulance Service to make the scene safe and treat those people who were affected by the explosion.
