Suspicious Powder Incident – Manchester City Centre
At around 2:30 pm emergency services were sent to Piccadilly Gate on Store Street, The address was evacuated as a precaution. A GMP spokesperson said that ‘an unknown white power had been delivered’ to the office block. Greater Manchester Fire And Rescue Service attended the scene with specialist equipment and carried out tests to confirm that the power was ‘non-toxic’ and ‘non-hazardous’.
